Cranford Jaycees Thank President McMenamin for Continued Support
The Cranford Jaycees visited in mid-January to thank Union County College President Margaret M. McMenamin for once again enabling them to host an event in October that raises funds to support local charities.
Celebrating African-American Heritage throughout February 2015
Black History Month: Union County College Celebrates African-American culture and history. A series of thought provoking events with individuals of note are scheduled throughout the month of February. Union County College takes pride in celebrating the contributions of African-Americans throughout History and Today.

Six new programs are now being offered free to businesses and nonprofit organizations through the Industry-Business Institute at Union County College.

Union County College President Named to Executive Committee
President Margaret M. McMenamin has been named to the New Jersey Council of County Colleges’ Executive Committee. The NJCCC is the state association for New Jersey’s 19 community colleges.

Normal office hours for Advising, Career, and transfer; EOF; student accounts; financial aid; and admissions, records, and registration are Monday through Thursday 8:30AM-7:30PM, Fridays 8:30AM-4:30PM.

Once completed the new member must confirm their Regroup account via the confirmation email sent to the email address entered during the sign up process.

Dr. Andrea Green

 
Nationally renowned playwright and educator Dr. Andrea Green has taught English at Union since 1975. Her produced and published plays include Tiger Lilies Out of Season and Like Bees to Honey. Her drama has won a Critics’ Choice award and other national playwriting competitions. Dr. Green has a B.A. from the University of New Mexico, an M.A. from Seton Hall University, and an Ed.D. from Seton Hall University.
