Union County College Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
On Mon., Aug. 15, 2016, members of the Union County Improvement Authority, joined members of the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Senator Raymond J. Lesniak, Union County College Trustees and Governors, and President Margaret M. McMenamin for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Student Development Building.
Union County College Cuts the Ribbon in Plainfield for New Annex Building
It was a memorable day at Union County College’s Plainfield Campus when President Margaret M. McMenamin, with Assemblyman Jerry Green and Union County Freeholder Chairman Bruce Bergen, cut the ribbon to celebrate the re-opening of the Annex Building.

Anyone wishing to Opt-in to the Union County College Emergency Notification System to receive alert messages must sign up at the following hyper link: https://ucc.regroup.com/signup
Once completed the new member must confirm their Regroup account via the confirmation email sent to the email address entered during the sign up process.
  
Once the confirmation process is complete, the new member can login to their Regroup account add a phone number for text and voice message alerts from Regroup, or change what type of notifications they receive.

Associate Professor Saif Rao

Associate Professor Saif Rao

Professor Saif Rao has been inspiring students in his Biology classes at Union since the Fall of 2004, after working the prior year as a full-time temporary instructor. His initial experience with Union was as a Biology tutor for the Academic Learning Center. Raised in the Pakistani village of Ghazanffargargh, Prof. Rao earned a bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Botany from the Bahauddin Zakarya University, his first master’s degree is in Zoology from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan and his second master’s degree is in Food Microbiology from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. click here
