Professor Debbie Kemp-Jackson is entering her 20th year of teaching ESL at Union County College. She started as an adjunct in 1994, and over the years, while the students have changed, she believes that two things about them have not: their desire to learn English so they can improve their lives in the United States, and their determination to do so. Professor Kemp-Jackson is proud of having been able to help many students along this journey towards improving their English and achieving their goals at the college. In addition, she is interested in using technology to help ESL students maximize their learning capabilities outside of the classroom. Prof. Kemp-Jackson has a B.A in French and a M. Ed in Language Education from Rutgers University and a Masters in Educational Technology from New Jersey City University.
