Tse, Paul

 
Professor Paul Tse has taught music at Union since 1977. In 1983, he chaired the joint curriculum committee during the merger of Union College and the Union County Technical Institute. Over the past two years, together with the Cultural and Educational Programs Advisory Committee, Prof. Tse has brought music back to the Roy Smith Theater. Last year featured performances by violinist and Metropolitan Opera concert master Elmira Darvarova, a jazz quartet, and a classical string quartet. This year’s concerts will include the David Grossman Jazz Trio and a violin-and-horn duo (Ms. Darvarova and New York Philharmonic’s Howard Wall). Prof. Tse has a master’s in Music from the Manhattan School of Music and a master’s of Education from Columbia University. He also earned two diplomas from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria.
