The Disney College Program

The Disney College Program is a wonderful opportunity for students of all majors and backgrounds to grow both professionally and personally.  This is a paid internship located in Florida.   Students have the opportunity to Live, Learn and Earn while participating in this internship.  Students will Live in gated apartment complexes with 24 hour security.  Students may Learn by signing up for courses through Union County College and complete the courses in Florida through the Disney Education Department.  These courses are approved through the American Council on Education. (ACE)  Students interested in taking College Courses while participating in the Disney College Program must see Janet Rocco, 908-412-3580, Rocco@ucc.edu or Professor Belmonte,  Belmonte@ucc.edu to register.  The Earning component will allow students the opportunity to develop transferable skills in communications, guest services, leadership, teamwork, problem solving, customer service and time management.  Students will gain self-confidence, responsibility and cultural sensitivity.

Applications will be available in September on the Disney College Program website for Spring, and Spring Advantage programs.   Applications will be available early February for Fall and Fall Advantage programs.   Interested students should go to the following website; www.disneycollegeprogram.com to review the program, read through the Frequently Asked Questions and then apply to the program.  Students will sign up for a telephone interview and will then be notified of their status.  All applications are done on- line through the Disney College Program website.

Students are encouraged to check with Professor Belmonte or Janet Rocco, Coordinator of Student Services, Plainfield Campus for any upcoming campus presentations.
