Project Management Classes Start Soon.

Monday, October 22, 2012

Anyone with an interest in managing projects (no prior experience necessary) or who already works in
project management can enroll in an upcoming non-credit course, Introduction to Successful Project
Management, which starts October 30th. This is the first course in the Project Management certificate
program offered at Union County College through Continuing Education. This is a good program for
anyone looking for a job in project management who wants to improve his/her experience and
marketability.

The Project Management certificate program is designed to give students the tools needed to
successfully manage any type of project regardless of scope or industry. Whether managing
multiple information technology projects or a single marketing/advertising campaign, this
program teaches how to manage projects more efficiently and effectively. The certificate
program is geared toward Project Management Institute’s (PMI) standards and therefore is a
great way to prepare for the PMP exam for those who aspire to become a Project Management
Professional.

The first class, Introduction to Successful Project Management, runs from 10/30 11/15 from 6:00p.m. 9:00 p.m. and the $299 price includes the book. There will also be a follow-up class, Project Scope
and Process Management, which will run from 11/27-12/13. For more information on these courses
or to enroll, please call (908) 709-7600 or go to www.ucc.edu/noncredit to download the Fall 2012
brochure.
